Question
Do y’all recommend the Virginia Mae for a staircase runner?
Answer
Yes. Virginia Mae is made from outdoor fibers and a flatweave construction, so it is great for high traffic. The thinner pile should make it easier to install as well. We recommend you show a sample to your installer before you place your order!

Question
Do you recommend Virginia Mae for under a kitchen table? And is a rug pad necessary? What is advantage of rug pad? Thanks
Answer
Hi Theresa, yes, Virginia Mae is a great style for under a kitchen table as it is one of our most durable and easy to clean styles and is also low profile. While a rug pad isn't required, it helps ensure the rug will lay flat, provides extra cushion, and will help ensure the longevity of your rug. For those reasons, we highly recommend opting for a rug pad.

Question
Do you recommend a pad if the rug is going to be in a screened porch and the flooring is limestone?
Answer
Hi Nancy! We recommend opting for our "Outdoor Attached Rug Pad" as this pad does well on flooring that is porous, like Limestone.
