Hand-dyed with beautiful pops of blue, Halle brings coastal warmth and visual interest to every room.

Designed with subtle hints of blue, the wool warp and weft mix the rich color of natural fiber with an oceanic yarn for an effortless shibori effect. Bonus: the low pile is perfect for high-traffic areas in your home (think living areas and entryways).

Not for use in high-moisture environments, as exposure to water can stain natural fibers. Blot liquids immediately with clean cloth and avoid liquid cleaners.

    Is the rug treated with any chemicals? Any flame retardants, stain proofing or pest deterrence (commonly found in wool rugs)?

    Hi Kevin, we do not treat any of our rugs with any chemicals, or coating. We actually do not recommend the use of any type of stain protectants as this can compromise the integrity of the rug.

    I am concerned about the edges and corners turning up after a time. It this a problem with Ernesta rugs?

    Answer
    Hi Louise, our rugs are stored on rolls, so they have a tendency to retain shape for the first few weeks. This is normal and the rug will lie flat eventually, however, we do recommend helping "retrain" the fibers to remain flat more quickly, like folding them the opposite direction or laying books on top of them. Larger rugs tend to relax more quickly than smaller rugs, and an attached rug pad can help the rug lay flat more quickly. Please reach out to us at help@ernesta.com for more information!
