we love our rug!
We bought an 8'x10' Calpurnia Flax rug to replace one from another company that did not hold up to our Labrador's attention, if you know what I mean. It is beautiful, softer than we expected, durable (thank goodness), and fits our room perfectly. We used a smaller accent rug on top to add a hint of color. Thank you so much!...

Very nice. Dimensions I asked
Very nice. Dimensions I asked for were delivered. Satisfied though it takes 4 weeks if you add cushioning.

Question
Hello Would this rug (natural sisal rug) work under an office rolling chair?
Answer
Hi Marcus! The Calpurnia would work nicely with a rolling chair as it is relatively low-texture. We would encourage you to order a sample.

Question
Does it have a pre fixed backing
Answer
Hi Pam! The Calpurnia Flax has a thin latex blend backing that reinforces the weave and makes the rug non-slip without a rug pad.

Question
Is it possible to get matching stair treads? (roughly 8"-9" by 24"-27")
Answer
Hi Pgolay! Unfortunately, due to the custom nature of our rugs, we cannot guarantee that each piece will be the exact same size. The dimensions you are interested in also fall below our minimum size threshold.

Question
Do the edges of this rug curl up? (I can't use rug tape.)
Answer
Hi Karen, our rugs are stored on rolls, so they have a tendency to retain shape for the first few weeks. This is normal and the rug will lie flat eventually, however, we do recommend helping "retrain" the fibers to remain flat more quickly, like folding them the opposite direction or laying books on top of them. Larger rugs tend to relax more quickly than smaller rugs, and an attached rug pad can help the rug lay flat more quickly. Please reach out to us at [email protected] for more information!...

Question
Interested in Calpurnia 6x9. Do I need a rug pad? Rather not have one. Does rug look the same as the top?
Answer
Hi Auri, we recommend a rug pad as it will help elongate the lifespan of your rug, hold it in place, and provide extra cushion, among other benefits. The rug should be represented by the images on this webpage, but you can also order a sample to see it in person!
